Quality Mexican food! Generous portions and authentic cooking. Service was excellent. We had a larger group stopping in after a business event. They were close to closing but invited us in. Drinks were delicious and massive, food was fresh and the service was prompt. Will dine here again on my next trip to Michigan!

Overall, one could argue there are better Mexican Restaurants in the Ann Arbor area. However, how much time, traffic & trouble do you want go through for the horribly scarce parking available that AA is famous for? Here you'll find a really good tacos, enchiladas, carnitas, ice cold Mexican drafts beers & tasty margaritas. Overall, Los Amigos has a good Jalisco cuisined menu (identical to their sister restaurant Don Juan's on Stadium). We'll stop in here occasionally when in the Briarcliff area and find consistent fare, very friendly service and easy, convenient parking. Great chips and the salsa is spot on. Biggest flaw from I've heard others point out is that they could spruce the exterior up a bit. A rustic 'hole-in-the-wall's facade is usually a big plus out in Arizona or Texas and a sure sign of a gem, but here the exterior look scares off the Ann Arbor highbrows.
Los Amigos hit the spot for Mexican fare while we were in Ann Arbor. The service was speedy & the ambiance brought me back to Mexico. The medium margarita was huge! I washed down my cheese enchilada & tamale and wished I had more room for the fried ice cream! The carnitas were cooked just right! Located right off I94 & in the same lot as the Briarwood Mall.
